how uzu works

everything on one page. use the menu to jump to a section.

01

what is uzu

the whole system in one minute.

uzu is a token launchpad on elysium, kinetiq's l2 for hyperliquid, with HYPE as gas.

launching works the way you already know: anyone can start a coin on a bonding curve priced in HYPE. what's different is what happens next.

every coin that enters the vortex pays the ones already inside.

how it works

  1. a coin is launched. it starts on a bonding curve. 5% of its supply is set aside, locked, for the orbit.
  2. it graduates. buyers fill the curve. liquidity moves to a pool. the reserve unlocks.
  3. the 5% streams. holders of coins that had already graduated receive it, pro-rata to what they hold, in a straight line over 7 days.
  4. you stay inside. the new coin is now a graduated coin too. holding it makes you eligible for the next launch, and the one after that.

sell your graduated coin and you leave the orbit. your streams stop.

$UZU

$UZU sits at the center. it counts as a graduated coin with 2x weight in the orbit, and part of the launchpad's fees buys it back.

$UZU is not live yet. there is no contract address. elysium mainnet is just launching. anything claiming to be $UZU today is not us.

02

how launches work

the bonding curve, pricing in HYPE, graduation, and where the liquidity goes.

numbers marked illustrative are the defaults used by the simulation. they show how the system behaves. final parameters are published before mainnet.

supply

every coin launched on uzu has the same fixed supply and the same split.

sharetokensgoes to
75%750,000,000sold on the bonding curve
20%200,000,000seeded into the pool at graduation
5%50,000,000reserved for the orbit

the 1,000,000,000 total and the 75 / 20 split are illustrative. the 5% orbit reserve is the core of the protocol.

the bonding curve

a bonding curve is a price that follows a formula, not an order book. the more that has been bought, the higher the price. the curve is always there to buy from and sell to, so a new coin needs no market maker.

uzu uses a constant-product curve over virtual reserves. V is virtual HYPE, T is virtual tokens, and their product stays fixed.

V × T = k
price = V / T

buying adds HYPE to V and removes tokens from T, so the price rises. selling does the reverse. the curve is priced in HYPE from the first trade to the last.

graduation

a coin graduates when its curve has raised the graduation threshold: the amount of HYPE needed to sell all 750,000,000 curve tokens.

in the simulation the threshold is 1,000 HYPE (illustrative). starting reserves are solved so the last curve price equals the opening pool price, which means there is no jump at graduation.

V₀ ≈ 363.64 HYPE
T₀ ≈ 1,022,727,273 tokens

first price = V₀ / T₀ ≈ 0.00000036 HYPE
final price = 1,000 / 200,000,000 = 0.000005 HYPE

what happens at graduation

in a single step:

  1. trading on the curve closes.
  2. the HYPE raised and the 200,000,000 pool tokens seed a liquidity pool on elysium.
  3. the 5% reserve unlocks and starts streaming to the orbit.
  4. the coin joins the set of graduated coins. holding it now gives you orbit weight.

the pool venue is TBD, and so is the treatment of LP tokens. the intent is that liquidity cannot be pulled by anyone, including the creator and the team.

a coin that never graduates

nothing bad happens to anyone else. it keeps trading on its curve. the 5% reserve stays locked. nobody receives an airdrop from it.

03

the orbit

the 5% reserve, the pro-rata formula, a worked example, and every edge case.

the orbit is the set of wallets holding graduated coins. every new coin reserves 5% of its supply for them.

the reserve

at launch, 5% of a new coin's supply goes into the orbit contract. it cannot move until that coin graduates. no one can claim it early, including the creator.

your weight

your share of an airdrop depends on your weight when the coin graduates. each graduated coin you hold counts for its value in HYPE. $UZU counts double.

weight(you) = Σ multiplier(c) × balance(you, c) × price(c)
              c

multiplier($UZU) = 2
multiplier(any other graduated coin) = 1

price(c) is a time-weighted average price, so a brief spike in a thin pool cannot inflate your weight. the averaging window is TBD.

your share

share(you) = weight(you) / Σ weight(everyone)

airdrop(you) = 5% of new coin's supply × share(you)

value-based weight keeps two things true. splitting a bag across wallets gains nothing. and buying a coin that nobody values gains very little.

value-based weight is the settled design. details like the averaging window can still be tuned before the contracts are audited. any change will be documented here first.

the 7-day stream

the airdrop unlocks at graduation and flows in a straight line. you can claim what has streamed at any time.

streamed(t) = airdrop × min(1, t / 7 days)
claimable(t) = streamed(t) − already claimed

a worked example

a new coin, $DROP, graduates. its reserve is 50,000,000 tokens. three wallets are inside.

walletholdsvaluemultiplierweightshare
ami$KUMO300 HYPE130030%
ben$UZU100 HYPE220020%
chi$NAMI500 HYPE150050%

total weight is 1,000, so:

  • ami receives 15,000,000 $DROP, about 2,142,857 per day
  • ben receives 10,000,000 $DROP. ben holds the smallest bag, and the 2x multiplier lifts it
  • chi receives 25,000,000 $DROP

on day 3, ami has streamed about 6,428,571 $DROP. ami now sells half of their $KUMO.

  • the 6,428,571 already streamed stays ami's
  • the unstreamed 8,571,429 is cut in half, because ami's weight halved
  • 4,285,714 $DROP goes back to ben and chi, in proportion to their weights

these wallets are fictional and the numbers are only arithmetic.

leaving the orbit

your weight is what you hold, live. sell a graduated coin and:

  • what has already streamed to you remains yours, claimed or not
  • your unstreamed amount shrinks by the share of your weight you sold
  • sell everything and your streams stop

unstreamed tokens you give up flow to wallets still inside, pro-rata to their weight.

edge cases

i bought a graduated coin after a graduation. you are in for future graduations, but not for streams that already started.

i moved my tokens to another wallet. a transfer counts as leaving. the weight moves with the tokens, and the live streams of the old wallet shrink the same way a sale would.

i claimed airdropped tokens. they are normal tokens of a graduated coin, so they add to your weight. unclaimed tokens do not count until claimed.

i hold LP tokens. tokens inside a pool do not count by default. rewards for liquidity providers are TBD.

the pool, the curve and the protocol hold tokens too. contracts are excluded. they never earn orbit weight.

nobody is inside yet. the very first coins have no orbit to pay. the rule for their reserve is TBD.

rounding. dust from integer division stays in the stream contract and is added to the next distribution.

two coins graduate in the same block. they are processed in order. the first coin does not count toward the second one's weights until its own graduation has been recorded.

04

$UZU

the center of the vortex. weight, fee split, buybacks and supply.

$UZU is the token at the center of the vortex. it is not launched yet.

there is no contract address today. every official surface shows "CA: not yet" until it is live.

2x weight

in the orbit, $UZU behaves like a graduated coin that counts double. one HYPE of $UZU carries the weight of two HYPE of any other graduated coin.

weight from $UZU = 2 × balance × price

the leave rule applies here too. sell $UZU and your weight falls with it.

buybacks

part of the launchpad's fees goes to buying $UZU on the open market. more launches and more trading mean more buy pressure on the center.

what happens to bought-back tokens (burned, or sent to the orbit) is TBD.

gas

elysium uses HYPE for gas. you need a little HYPE in your wallet for every on-chain action, including claiming a stream.

what is never a fee

the 5% orbit reserve is not a fee. the protocol does not keep it. it goes to holders, in full, except for the edge cases described in the orbit section.

06

fairness & anti-dump

why airdrops never hit the curve, and what limits snipers.

airdrops never touch the curve

the 5% reserve is not on the curve and cannot reach it. it unlocks only after graduation, when the curve has closed and a deep pool exists. a bonding-curve buyer can never be sold into by an orbit recipient.

no cliff

a single unlock creates a single moment when everyone sells. a 7-day linear stream spreads that out. at most about 14% of an airdrop has been released after one day.

selling has a cost

in most systems you can take an airdrop and leave. here, selling the coin that earned your weight shrinks what you have left to receive. the best way to receive more is to keep holding.

creators get no special access

the reserve goes to orbit holders, not the creator. a creator holding graduated coins is treated like anyone else.

snipers

buying right before a graduation. someone could watch a coin near the threshold and buy a graduated coin to pick up weight. time-weighted price and a balance measured over a window make this less attractive. the window length is TBD.

buying the top of a curve. the curve is public and anyone can buy it, bots included. bonding curves punish large early entries with their own price impact, but they do not remove sniping. per-wallet limits at launch are TBD.

farming with many wallets. splitting a bag gains nothing, because weight is proportional to value.

inflating a thin coin. weight uses a time-weighted price, so a short pump has limited effect. sustained manipulation would cost real money in the pool.

launching junk to farm the orbit. a coin pays others, not itself, and only if it graduates. launching does not earn you orbit rewards.

07

launching a coin

the steps, and what launching changes for your coin.

how to launch

  1. connect a wallet on elysium.
  2. choose a name, a ticker of 2 to 8 characters, an image and one line of description.
  3. add your links.
  4. confirm. your coin enters the vortex and starts on its curve.

until mainnet you can try all of this in the app, simulated.

what you give up

5% of your coin's supply goes to the orbit, automatically. you can't keep it or redirect it.

what your coin gains

once it graduates, your coin counts for the orbit. its holders earn from every later launch.

08

using the app

wallet, network, and how the simulation works.

the app is a testnet simulation. nothing in it is real money. no transaction is sent. all coins are fictional demos.

connect a wallet

use the connect wallet button, top right of every page. you don't need a wallet to look around: without one, the app opens in guest mode and works the same.

after connecting, you'll be asked to sign one message. it costs no gas, approves nothing, and only starts a local session.

network

the app is configured for elysium testnet.

settingvalue
networkElysium Testnet
chain id99801
currencyHYPE
rpchttps://testnet-rpc.elysium.kinetiq.xyz
explorerhttps://test-explorer.elysium.kinetiq.xyz

if your wallet is on another network, the app shows a switch button. test HYPE is available from kinetiq's faucet, although the simulation doesn't need it.

the pages

coins. coins on the curve are still raising HYPE, and the ring shows progress to graduation. graduated coins have moved to a pool.

coin. the curve, a buy and sell panel, holders, and the 5% reserve as a ring segment.

launch. fill in the form and watch your sphere take shape. it falls into the vortex when you submit.

my rewards. your graduated coins, your weight, your incoming streams, your claims and your history.

simulator. the time machine. fast-forward by a day or a week, trigger launches and graduations, and watch the streams arrive.

how the simulation works

everything runs in your browser and is stored in local storage, per wallet address. it runs on simulated time, separate from the real clock. you start with 120 simulated HYPE and a small starter bag, so something is already streaming.

simulated numbers use the illustrative parameters from how launches work, with a modelled crowd of other holders. they aren't a prediction.

reset simulation on the simulator page wipes your local state and starts over. clearing your browser's storage does the same.

09

security & risks

an honest list of what can go wrong.

nothing on this site is financial advice. crypto assets can go to zero. never use money you can't afford to lose.

market risk

coins launched here are speculative. most tokens on most launchpads end up worth little or nothing. the orbit doesn't change that. it adds a reward, and that reward is paid in other speculative coins.

orbit rewards can be small or zero

rewards depend on launches, on graduations, on the value of the coins that graduate, and on how many others are inside. if launches stop, rewards stop. an airdrop of a coin that loses its value is worth little.

smart contract risk

contracts can have bugs, and bugs can lose funds. uzu's contracts aren't deployed or audited yet. see contracts. an audit lowers risk but never removes it.

chain risk

elysium is a new l2 and mainnet is just launching. new chains can have outages, bridge problems and sequencer issues. you depend on elysium, on its bridge, and on hyperliquid beneath it.

liquidity risk

a pool can be thin. selling a large position may move the price against you. on a curve, your exit price depends on what others have done.

scam risk

anyone can launch a coin, including with a misleading name or image. uzu doesn't vet coins. a coin's presence on uzu is not an endorsement.

  • check addresses yourself
  • we will never ask for your seed phrase
  • we will never DM you first
  • $UZU has no contract address until this site shows one

regulatory risk

rules differ by country and change over time. you're responsible for what applies to you, including tax.

the simulation

simulated results are illustrations. they don't predict anything. a number in the app says nothing about what you would earn.
